Pat Mabry
Pat will mix social African American Dance Movement with traditional moves and create a unique class filled with African Dance Funk, which has earned the title of the Funk Meister!  vibrantexpressionnyc.com

Maguette Camara
Known for his incredible energy and positive demeanor Maguette will teach a dance class rich with the legacy of traditional West African dance, music and folklore.

Darian M. Parker
Darian will be teaching Soko, Ethnic Groups: Komanko and Malinke, Rite of Passage for young boys; and/or Fula Fare, Fula People: Baby Naming Ceremonies.

Crystal Harrison
Crystal will be teaching two different dance styles. Kassa (which means plant) is a dance derived from the Malinke people of Guinea, West Africa and is danced for the farmers while they are working in the fields.Gumbe is found in both Sierre Leonne and in Guinea, West Africa. In Guinea, it is known as a fisherman’s dance and in Sierre Leonne it is performed and drummed by former Maroon Slaves who escaped into the mountains as an expression of their freedom.

Shola will be teaching a high-powered, fast-paced traditional West African dance class from the Old Malian Empire.

Reverend Nafisa
Reverend Nafisa will be teaching Sunnu, originally danced during the harvesting season and planting of seeds into the earth that became a fun, flirtatious dance of competition between men and women from the Bambara People of Mali, West Africa.
